The role of the Board of Deacons (Diaconate) in the Congregational Church is to oversee spiritual and policy matters, and to assist the Minister in pastoral responsibilities. The Diaconate is responsible for the oversite of all services of worship and the use of the Church. It determines policy in matters that affect the Church,and coordinates the functions of various committees and organizations. The following committees report to the Diaconate: Mission, Music, Religious Education, Women's fellowship, and Pastoral Relations. Any questions or suggestions relative to spiritual, pastoral or policy matters of the Church should be brought to the attention of a member of the Diaconate.Diaconate—12 Members
