Sunday school update:

Rally Day September 12- Join us in welcoming back the Sunday school children on September 12.  Take this opportunity to offer your help and support by pledging time, services, and supplies.  We will be hosting coffee hour in fellowship hall so please stop by and add your name to one of our volunteer lists.

Noah’s Ark- David built the ark and you helped fill it.  We have a beautiful new Noah’s ark in the preschool room that can be taken apart and re-assembled by the children.  Thank you to my husband David for helping to bring this vision to fruition.  The ark is filled with 14 pairs of sturdy, realistic looking animals which were provided by the generous members of our congregation.  Thank you to the Seiferts, the Clarke family, Pete and Jackie Mundy, Betsy Angelico, Jennifer Ross, Jennifer Orchard, David and Judy Eastwood, Bob and Sue Goodrich, Jean Slocum, Russ Hoffman, Ted and Betty Repa, Bob and Judy Dent, Addie Saunders, Carol Saunders, Sue Smith, and Jenn and Cole Hyson for helping us to fill the ark and provide hours of creative Bible play.  Please stop by and take a look.

Vacation Bible School- We just wrapped up a fun filled season of vacation Bible school.  The younger children learned classic Bible stories like Noah’s Ark, and David and Goliath.  The older kids were treated to a series of outings hosted by members of our church community.  Thanks go to the Hilschers, the Gosselins, Paul Noah, Tom Dewey, and Sarah Foulger for their help.  Thanks also to Donna Closson for providing a much needed swim ladder.
