Seeking "Congo Players"

Sarah Foulger is looking for 4 actors, 2 for a liturgical drama on Sunday, October 3 (World Communion Sunday) and 2 for a liturgical drama on Sunday, November 21 (the Sunday before Thanksgiving). Speak up!

The Case of the Missing Sermons -

Last February, Sarah's computer crashed and, somehow, a chronological segment of documents went missing (ah, the mystery of computers). If you happened to download any sermons from our church website between January 2008 and June 2009, please let Sarah Foulger know or, better yet, email her with an attachment of any of the missing sermons. Prayer Shawls- Thanks to the wonderful knitters who provide prayer shawls! Sarah Foulger delivers these shawls to those who are sick. At this time, prayer shawls are needed. Thanks for your help in this important ministry.

The four parking slots in the rear parking lot marked “RESTRICTED PARKING” are intended to be used by people with handicapped plates or by anyone with temporary mobility issues but who do not have the handicapped plate. They are intended to be used for this purpose during church services, concerts, weddings and any large event. All other times the slots may be used for general parking. Obviously, control of this is based on an honor code that must be observed by all to have the program be a success. Thanks for your cooperation.  

Inclement Weather – Call 633-4757

It is officially winter – sometimes known as ‘slip and fall’ season!  In the event of severe weather, the Deacons may decide to cancel church.  In this case, please call the church phone:  633-4757 to listen to a message which will clearly indicate that events at the church are canceled.  The Deacons will also try to update the church website and notify radio/TV stations.  However, the church phone will have the most up-to-date information!
